Another farm species has been added to our homestead. Embden Geese are a docile and quiet breed compared to the more common Chinese or African. I'm sure my neighbors would appreciate my selection criteria.
What I really impressed with regarding this breed, they are tolerant with the children and are very trusting. I am assuming I have two girls and a boy. The boy is probably the most friendly and already proud of himself.The pups get a little curious, but nothing more than a sniff comes from it. The hounds, on the other hand, would love an afternoon snack, so they are kept separated at all times.
