Early Winter Outside Time

We had a great day visiting in the sunshine.  I took all the young pullets out in the yard, and let them scratch around.  The big chickens got out and free ranged a bit too, and didn't want to go back up.  While every one was out, I let the ducklings swim in their tub, and I figured it was the perfect time to clean out the brooders.  There's not a whole lot I like more than the fresh pine smell.  It takes me back to the days of my childhood of climbing in the wooded yard full of pine trees...  Mmmm...
